SQUISHY PARTY IDEAS!
DECORATIONS
Put some Squishies in balloons and blow the balloons up.
Put stuffed animals all around the party area to make it look like a zoo or jungle. If you want to make "cages" you can use cardboard boxes with slots cut into them or even decorated laundry baskets.
Get a squishy and set it down on a table.
Decorate the background with stuff that is the same color as the squishy.Then have the guest find it as part of the party.
First, scatter the squishies of any kind all over the table and on the cake (before you light it.) Then when you light the cake take them off and put some of them in party bags, (after you wash them) and get animal plates ballons and stuff like that in and on the table and in the gift bags.

SQUISHY SCAVENGER HUNT
PIN-THE-SQUISHY-ON-THE-PENCIL
(Like Pin the tail on the Donkey.)
Make a large poster with a drawing of a pencil. Print out Squishy Pictures for each child.
Squishy TREASURE HUNT
Hide a bunch of animals still in their capsules all over the house or yard.
Make a map to help your guests find the secret hidden places.
The ones each guest finds, they get to keep!
*BONUS: You can even hide some inside of balloons and they have to pop them to get the animals!

REAL WILDLIFE
If you are lucky and have some sort of wildlife refuge in your area, give them all call and see what kinds of animals they can bring to your sqwishy party. The guests will get a kick out of seeing large, colorful birds, strange looking rodents, and even long, slithery snakes!
SQWISHY MANIA CHARADES
Put the names of the animals into a bowl. Have a guest choose an animal and act it out. Everyone tries to guess which animal it is.
For older kids, you could play it like 20 questions. A child chooses an animal out of the bowl. Then the guests take turns asking questions...."Does it live on land?" "Is it a mammal?" etc. until they guess correctly or reach 20 questions in which case the "chooser" will reveal the correct answer. The "chooser" can only answer with "Yes" or "No".

Make your own pinata in the shape of a squishy. We think the pig could be done quite easily. Or use a store bought, animal shaped pinata. Fill the Pinata with Squishies, Candy and other small toys.

SQUISHY DRAWING CONTEST
1.Each guest picks a squishy out of a bowl.
2.Host passes paper and pencils to each guest.
3.Guests draw their squishy.Host is the judge.
4.Award the best squishy drawer with his/her picture and squishy.
SQUISHY GUESS
Blow up a slightly dark colored, non-helium ballon and put a squishy inside it. Put it about 1 or 2 feet in front of someones face. Guess which squishy it is!
OR
Blindfold your guest. Put a bunch of squishies in a bowl and ask them to reach in and find a certain squishy animal like an elephant or crab. They can only use one hand.
SQUISHY HANGMAN
First have a big piece of paper and put it on the wall. Draw the lines to have a place to hang the squishy.
Split into two teams. Each team selects someone to think up a word based on a theme. Each member of the team guesses a letter,but if they get it wrong, draw a part of one of the squishies on the hangman paper.The team who wins gets to choose their squishy prize!

CRAFTS
BEACH IN A BOWL
Make a little beach for your squishies!
Use your imagination! You can make all kinds of stuff like furniture!
1. Use a small clear plastic container or cup.
2. Fill with sand.
3. Put a small umbrella (like the ones used for drinks) in the sand.
4. Cut a small piece of terry cloth or washcloth in the shape of a beach towel. Put it on the sand.
5. Add a Sea Squishy or two!
*Bonus: Add the board part of a Skateboard Eraser into the sand sticking half under the sand for a surfboard!
SQUISHY POOL
1. Get a foam bowl.
2. Paint it any color blue.
3. Get some clay or paper.
Glue or tape it to the bottom of the pool.
4.Make a diving board,
raft, inter tube, and a ladder out of cardboard or anything you have lying around at home.
SQUISHY HOUSE
1) Take a box, some soft material (any kind like cloth or styrofoam) and some shells or rocks. Decorate your house.
2) Set the animals up in their new home.
*BONUS! you can even paint the outside so it looks like a brick building or a wooden cabin!
SQUISHY WORLD
1. Gather your Squishies
2. Buy or gather Doll Houses,Littlest Pet Houses, Calico Critter furniture, Homemade house,etc.
3. Make a scene for the bottom of your village on big paper
4. Put your houses and squishies on it
5. Add pools,picnic stuff, food, and other furniture
6. Invite friend(s) over (optional)
7. Play and enjoy:)

Make a cake and decorate it with colorful sprinkles etc. (Confetti cake would be great!) Place squishies all over the cake.
BEACH CAKE
Make a rectangular cake and frost the top of it to look like a beach. Add the Sea Squishies as decoration.
ZOO CAKE
Make a rectangular cake and frost the top green with a yellow or brown pathway going across it. Decorate it like a zoo. Use the squishies as the zoo animals. Add cookies or candies to be rocks, grass, etc. Use pretzels for fences.
EASY COSTCO CAKE
Get a plain or animal themed Costo cake and add squishies to decorate it!
Food at a Sqwishalnd animal party would be
similar to any regular party. Popcorn, peanuts, ice cream and cotton candy
would all be fun snacks to offer along with the cake. However, you can make the
food at your party animal themed as well. The San Diego Zoo website offers
great, nutritious recipes like “Warthog Waffles” and “Bonobo Banana Boat”. They
are easy to make and fun too!
